Residential Nursing/Care Homes
Plusballs have been used successfully by many residents sitting in chairs and wheelchairs in care homes with assistance from activity co-ordinators and care staff.

See a video of older people using plusballs.
Physiotherapy Departments
Physiotherapists find plusballs useful to encourage their patients to perform certain movements to aid therapy or recovery.
Activity Groups for Seniors
Plusballs can be used as a simple hand-eye co-ordination improvement device as well as an introduction for activities for older people such as badminton, tennis and volleyball.
Rehabilitation groups
It is envisaged that plusballs will be increasingly used by organisations such as The Stroke Association and The British Heart Foundation in their physical activity programmes designed to aid recovery from patients’ heart events, as well as groups supporting and arranging rehab for those with other medical conditions.
